TUNNEL OF FUDGE CAKE
INGREDIENTS:
- 1¾ cup butter
- 1¾ cup granulated sugar
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2¼ cups flour
- ¾ cups cocoa powder
- 2 cups chopped walnuts
- Glaze (Page 80)
DIRECTIONS:
- Beat butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy
- Add eggs one-at-a-time, beating well after each addition
- Gradually add powdered sugar blending well
- By hand, stir in flour,cocoa and nuts
- Spoon batter into greased and floured bundt pan
- Bake at 350ºF for 58 to 62 minutes
- Cool upright in pan for 1 hour
- Invert onto serving plate and cool completely
- Glaze
