DESSERTS

INGREDIENTS:

• ¾ cup un-sifted all-purpose flour
• ½ tsp baking soda
• ½ cup butter
• ½ cup creamy peanut butter
• ½ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
• ½ cup granulated sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• ½ cup salted Spanish peanuts
• ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate bits

DIRECTIONS:

• On wax paper mix together flour and baking soda
• In medium bowl cream butter and peanut butter
• Beat in brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg and vanilla
• Add flour mixture by hand
• Mix well
• Stir in peanuts and chocolate bits
• Drop by heaping tsp onto un-greased cookie sheets
• Press down, with floured fork, making criss-cross pattern
• Bake at 350ºF for 10 minutes
• Let cool one minute before removing from cookie sheet
