APPLE CRUNCH COFFEE CAKE
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups Bisquick
- 2/3 cup milk
- 3 tbl sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 cups apples, peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 tbl chopped nuts
- streusel topping (Page 22)
- glaze (Page 23)
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 400ºF
- Grease 9x9x2 pan
- Mix Bisquick,milk,sugar and egg; beat for 30 seconds
- Pour half of batter in pan; arrange apples on top of batter
- Sprinkle with half of streusel topping; sprinkle with nuts
- Spread remaining batter on top of apples
- Sprinkle with remaining streusel topping
- Bake at 400ºF for 20-25 minutes
- Drizzle with glaze
